The lighting and DOF are perfect for this type of flower...the delicate quality of the petals is highlighted by the emphasis on both. Very romantic image....

This image is hands down one of the best I've seen with regard to flowers. And I've seen a lot. The detail, the color, the light and shadow and your DOF are perfect. I love the bud, really adds depth and reality to the composition. Makes me feel as though I could reach out an touch it! Wonderful. really.
