Lace Bark Pines

Very intriguing & artistic abstract, Walt. I like the colors & tones and the pattern is simply wonderful - something only nature could produce!

Hi, Walter. I'm not used to seeing you take the abstract approach! But, just like your lovely landscapes, you've managed to find great colors and an interesting composition. Love the bark patterns; I can see why it's called "lace". Was the cyan cast I see here as you saw it that day?

It's a great abstract! I love the orange colored specks against the rest of the purple/red colors. Well seen!

Thanks Lou Ann! I have several other frames of this subject that I need to work on; one or two may be better than this one. Funny, I was going to clone those little spots out but the task seemed too much at the time ;0)
